Instructors take the mystery out of ABS brakes. In this exercise instructors will discuss the difference in a vehicle equipped with ABS and a vehicle without ABS. By applying brakes at maximum pressure to stop vehicle in the shortest distance possible the student will gain an understanding of what to expect from the braking system in an emergency situation. Once accomplished, the student will brake and turn to avoid an imaginary object. This exercise will teach the student to be aggressive with ABS brakes in an emergency situation.
